First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage...

Life continued on for the Tea family. Strawkiwi began working on his book because he wanted nothing more in this world than to become a professional author. Well that career and Thistle of course ;)


Thistle soon discovered that her husband was an excellent cook and he began cooking for them on a regular basis.


Thistle started to notice that she had put on a few extra pounds, probably from all of the yummy food Strawkiwi was cooking for her. So she began working out and resumed her studies in Martial arts.


One day however, Thistle had to stop in the middle of her workout. She felt faint and exhausted all of a sudden.

Thistle: *What in the world is going on with me?* she said to herself, *I'm just not myself today at all*


That night, the couple sat down on the sofa to watch their favorite show Top Chef, and Thistle decided to tell Strawkiwi what was going on.

Thistle: I'm not really sure whats going on with my honey, but I'm just not feeling right. I couldn't even finish my training today.

Strawkiwi: Well darling, maybe you should go to the doctor tomorrow if you aren't feeling any better. But, I think you may just be coming down with a bug.

That night Thistle awoke in the middle of the night--


She was feeling better, much better. In fact she was craving some orange flavored ice cream of all things.


The next morning when she awoke she had an extra little spring in her step and a twinkle in her eyes.


And Thistle didn't even have to go to the doctor to figure out what was going on with her...

Yup our little Thistle Tea is expecting a baby! :D

Thistle: I'm so excited! I can't wait until Strawkiwi comes home!

When Strawkiwi first came home from work he noticed that Thistle had bought some new clothes. She looked nervous and he went over to find out what was going on.

Strawkiwi: Thistle is something the matter?
Thistle: No sweetheart! Things are great...in fact they are more than great we are having a baby!

At first, Strawkiwi was shocked but then his face quickly changed to a grin and he gave Thistle a huge thumbs up and a wink.


Strawkiwi: Mom's are hot! *He and Thistle laugh hysterically at that*


The pregnancy went well and Thistle could already tell that Strawkiwi was going to be a good father. He love listening to her belly...


And was always surprised and amused with the baby kicked or got the hiccups and Thistle's belly jumped.

The nine and 1/2 months flew by and before the couple knew it , Thistle woke up one morning feeling awful with a headache and backache. By that afternoon her water had broken and Strawkiwi rushed her to the hospital before I could even get a snapshot!

Time passed quickly and before we knew it, the couple brought home their bouncing baby boy Peppercini!


That night Thistle and Strawkiwi looked into each others eyes, tired but happy. Their little family had grown by one and Thistle felt like she was holding a little miracle in her arms. Could there be anything more special than this?
